2:21. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಲಾಯಿತು. ನೀವು ಅನುಸರಿಸತಕ್ಕ ಮಾದರಿಯು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನು ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ನೀವೂ ಮಾಡಿರಿ. ನೀವು ಸಂಕಟವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವಾಗ ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯಿಂದಿರಬೇಕು, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ಸಂಕಟಪಟ್ಟನು.

2:21. ಇದ ಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ನೀವು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರಿ; ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಸಹ ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಬಾಧೆಯನ್ನನುಭವಿಸಿ ನೀವು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯ ಜಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಮಗೆ ಮಾದರಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋದನು.
